New Delhi: Delhi International Airport Limited (Dial), Airport Operators at Indira Gandhi International Airport, said on Thursday that it had launched a “excessive baggage delivery system” pocket-friendly for passengers traveling through Terminal-3.
This service will give them the option to provide excessive luggage or all of their luggage to the front of their door in any location in India.
It is called “Avaan Excess” service, it will allow domestic and international passengers to get their excess baggage sent at their door at affordable prices.
The airport operator said the excess of Avaan would send luggage within 72 hours by air and four days by road.
The luggage ordered will be insured by the holder of the concession as well.
Airport sources say tariffs will be repaired per kg, with Rs 101 to be charged up to 7 kg for road trips and Rs 67 per kg to 15 kg.
For air, rates will rs 236 per kg to 7kg and it will drop to rs 183 per kg to 15 kg.
