NEW DELHI: Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said on Thursday that annual examinations for class 9th and 11th have been canceled.
Earlier, the exams were postponed due to the Covid-19 situation, however, it has now been called off.
The assessment and promotion policy for classes 9 and 11 have been discussed with the education department, he said in the press conference.
Students will be promoted based on the mid-term examinations.
The class 9 and 11 results will be declared on June 22, 2021.
The result announcement will be made online.
“Annual examinations for class 9th and 11th will be cancelled.
Students will be promoted on the basis of mid-term examinations.
Discussed the assessment & promotion policy for class 9th & 11th students with the Directorate of Education and team,” Sisodia tweeted on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the online registration for classes 6 to 9 will commence on Friday, i.e., June 11.
Candidates can submit applications through the official portal of the education department — edudel.nic.in.
