Delhi: Average Max Temp in June Lowest in the last 4 years

New Delhi: After Delhi witnessed Drizzle, most of the cloudy sky and east wind on most of the day a month, this June recorded a maximum temperature of the lowest average at 38.3 degrees Celsius in the past four years.
The average monthly temperature remains below normal temperatures, according to the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD).
However, a delayed Monsone caused a 47% rain deficit in June.
As many as 34.8 mm of rainfall received in the month while normal rainfall for June was 65.5 mm.
The maximum normal average temperature for June is 39.2 degrees Celsius.
The average minimum temperature is recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius.
The IMD data shows that at 37.7 degrees Celsius, the average maximum temperature in June 2017 was lower than June 2021.
Weatherman said the mercury remained largely below normal in June and the temperature witnessed an increasing trend in the last four days.
Kuldeep Srivastava, Scientists in the IMD, said, “Safdarjung Station, City Base Station, recorded seven rainy days this month while several stations watched a little rain in other days.
Because of the very light rain, cloudy ceilings and east winds , the maximum maximum temperature remains below normal.
When an area adjacent from Delhi receives rain, the temperature does not rise due to turbidity.
Because of the delay in the monsoon and the clear sky, mercury begins to rise in the last four days.
“IMD previously estimated that the rainy season can occur in Delhi on June 15.
However, the emergence of the rainy season slowed and crossed the normal date of June 27.
IMD on Wednesday said the arrival of the Monsun was unlikely to occur above the next six-seven days.
Although the Meteorology Department has predicted rain on a few days in the second half of the month, the isolated drizzle activity was largely reported in the last few days.
“The delay in the emergence of monsoons affects rain activities.
There is a rain deficit because the rainy season does not develop as expected,” said an official met.
In June 2020, 81.8 mm rainfall was recorded after the initial monsoon.
The rain in June last year was a 25% surplus and 13 rainy days were recorded.
Monsun arrived at Delhi on June 25 last year.
