NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Thursday asked lieutenant governor Anil Baijal to guide Delhi authorities to instantly resurvey and determine the amount of youngsters or people who have lost parent.
In an letter to the LG, Kapoor said that”the requirement to collect the right information is significant in the aftermath of Delhi administration on May 28 notifying the Supreme Court that just two kids aged around 17 years are orphaned and only 3 others have dropped their one parent” “We’ve observed society and also come to understand that tens of thousands of youth have expired as a result of Covid-19 throughout the next wave and of course when tens of thousands of young women and men have died many kids have to be quite modest in era,” Kapoor published.
He said that SC had given one final chance to rectify the data from June 5.
“I expect you’ll agree that by providing incorrect data, we’ll be denying bona fide settlement claims of several kids,” Kapoor inserted in the correspondence.
Meanwhile, the Delhi BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana stated Delhi authorities on May 16 advised the Supreme Court that it had dispersed 1,69,007 Remdesivir shots, a Covid-19 medication, and had an inventory of 23,890 medications.
“But five months later, at an RTI response, Delhi government said that till recently, it’s purchased 48,093 Remdesivir shots while Centre has granted it liberated yet another 9,036 injections,” Khurana said, inquiring how did the authorities then disperse 1,69,007 injections.
He lodged a complaint with Delhi Police about the issue and sought a question.
