Delhi bought more electric vehicles than before

New Delhi: In an effort to further encourage the use of electric vehicles in the capital, the Delhi Government will establish 600 public EV charging points throughout the city in June next year.
Expansion will be available nearly 1000 EV point point poopers in the capital.
Meanwhile, EVS contributed 9% of vehicles sold in Delhi from September to November 2021; While the national average of resting 1.6%.
9,540 Electric vehicles are sold in Delhi last quarter and fast sales up every month.
CM Arvind Kejriwal has set the EVS target to take into account 25% of vehicle sales in 2024 which will significantly reduce air pollution.

In September and November 2021, EV sales were 9.2% while in October it was 8.2% of total sales.
It should be noted that in the previous quarter an electric vehicle has emerged as the second largest vehicle in Delhi after a vehicle managed by gasoline.
While CNG vehicle sales have dropped from 9.7% in September to 6.5% in November.
CM recently brought to Twitter to share news: “I like Delhi appears as an Indian EV capital with a 9% share of EV.
Delhi does everything possible to reduce his contribution to pollution.” Minister of Transportation Kailash Gahlot said, “Electric vehicle policy Progressive Delhi turned out to be a big success.
Electric vehicle sales gained popularity day after day in Delhi.

“A total of 9,540 electric vehicles sold in Delhi from September to November.
From this, September saw sales of 2,873 EV, while 3,275 EVs were sold in October and 3,392 in November.
EVS has increased to second place in the sales figure after the gasoline vehicle takes the first place at 82,626.
At the same time, electric vehicles surpass popular choice such as Diesel and CNG with significant margins.
7,820 CNG vehicles and 2,688 vehicles are sold in the quarter.
In Hybrid, Category 3,918 Gasoline Vehicles + CNG for sale while 1,429 gasoline and other hybrid variants are sold.
Delhi became the first country to fully free tax and registration fees for all EVs.
Furthermore, the feasibility criteria are simplified and made universal so that more people can use subsidies, an official stated.
In the past two years, more than 380 charging points have been arranged throughout Delhi – the highest for any city nationally.
600 other public charging points must be added in the mid 2022.
The Delhi campaign switches the government has recently been concluded to play an important role in raising awareness of EV policy.
As mandated in the government EV policy paying subsidies to 1000 cars and stopping subsidies but cars such as other eVs continue to be released from road taxes and registration fees.
Subsidies continue on electric two wheels, automatic rickshaws, pedicabs and shipping vehicles.
