New Delhi: Eight-year-old Delhi Boy Advay Misra, who was named one of the ‘the smartest students in the world’ by John Hopkins University earlier this year, has now pocketed second place in the US National Science BEE 2021 competition.
National Science Bee is a buzzer-based science competition for individual students, with questions from biology, chemistry, physics, earth, astronomy, mathematics, and other scientific fields.
This includes a written qualification exam and a regional and national championship based buzzer.
A fan of Science and Readers Kokan, Advay is now focused on the International Championship of the International Geography and Bee International History to be held in Quebec in August next year he has qualified.
Landing in the US at the age of five because of the commitment of the occupation of his parents in 2018, Misra has now returned home and will now continue her education at one of Delhi’s school.

“Organic chemistry is my favorite subject.
Because it is interesting to see the reaction of compounds.
Mystery and realistic fiction are also my favorite,” said Misra.
Misra has also been treated in the prestigious centers of Johns Hopkins University for talented youth (CTY) which is considered Alumni Mark Zuckerberg, Lady Gaga, Google founders, Rhodes scholars and MacArthur colleagues, among others.
