New Delhi: A 20-year-old civil defense employee was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping a teenage girl in the West Delhi Bindapur area, police said on Sunday.
The defendant has been identified as Abhishek Kumar, a resident of Uttam Nagar, they said.
On Wednesday, a case was registered with complaints of parents from the 15-year-old girl, they said.
A senior police officer said the victim arrived at his home on Wednesday and stated that when he was near Matiala Road, a man offered to drop it near his motorbike’s house.
He took him to the training center, showed several photos from his cellphone and introduced himself as a police officer, said the officer.
Allegations also promised to get teacher work at the coaching center.
After that, he took him to the park and raped him, police said.
During the investigation, the police analyzed more than 150 CCTV cameras installed in the death, Jain Colony, Rajapuri.
In one recording, he looks along with a motorbike.
He was arrested on Saturday from Rajapuri, police said.
