NEW DELHI: Head of Minister of Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the central government to mandate farmers in neighboring Delhi countries using bio-decomposition techniques to manage harvest remains rather than burning them and worsen air quality in the winter months.
Kejriwal said on Monday that a central government institution had found a bio-decomposer developed by the Pusa Institute managed to curb the propeller and that he planned to meet the minister of the environment to unite to urge him to adopt a solution.
Last year, the Delhi government sprayed bio-decomposer on agricultural land in the capital and found it rotting stump plants in about 20 days for fields for the next arranged.
The state government has a bio-decomposer solution audited by Wapcos, water service unions, and the report supports the efficacy of bio-decomposer.
Wapcos surveyed 79 farmers in 15 villages in four districts.
“90% of farmers said the stump was decomposed in 15-20 days when it took 40-50 days,” Kejriwal said at a press conference on Monday.
“The land needed to be hijacked 6-7 times before, but once or twice after using a decomposition spray.
Soil organic carbon content increased by 40% and a 24% nitrogen level with stumps ended as manure.
The bacterial content also increased seven times The mushroom content rose three times.
“CM said this so pushing the quality of the soil that sprouting wheat is 17-20% higher than usual.
“Almost half of the farmers say the number of fertilizers they have to use decrease from 46kg / acres to 36-40kg / hectare, while the yield of wheat has just increased by 8%,” Kejriwal said.
It is hoped that from October the air Delhi will be more polluted because farmers in neighboring countries begin to cleanse the field of rice harvest which is sown in winter wheat.
Kejriwal said there is now a solution to this eternal pollution source from agricultural fires.
“Pusa Institute has developed proven and extraordinarily cheap bio-decomposer.
We tested it at 1,935 hectares in 39 Delhi villages.
The bridge was lagging behind quickly when the solution was sprayed.
No need to revoke or burn stumps,” he said.
Urge neighboring countries to take this method to overcome Stainble Burning, Kerjwal said the state government can be sprayed in the fields for free as Delhi did.
“All that must be done by the state government is to adopt this bio-decomposition and all that needs to be done center is to mandate countries to employ this solution,” he said.
“Previously, there was no solution.
Now.
By using this and stop burning stump plants, we can all get freedom from seasonal pollution.”
