New Delhi: Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday promised Delhies to bring a variety of government services right in front of their doors on the lines of non-faceless service launched earlier this week.
In the past six-seven years, Delhi has become a “government laboratory”, conducting experiments in various fields, he said in his speech at the function of the 75th Independence Day from the Delhi government.
“Last week, we put a key in the RTO office that entertained many people.
Locking the office does not mean it is closed.
That means, now you do not need to take the office round,” he said, quoting the people faced by people for SIM.
Now, people don’t need to wait in a long queue or pay money for brokers.
They might just go to the Department of Transportation website and have a SIM in one hour.
Also, if they don’t use the internet, they can call on 1076, and a government official will visit them and do what is needed, said Kejriwal.
“We have started this with the Department of Transportation, and gradually, all Delhi governments will be sent to your home,” said Chief Minister, referring to services that can be applied online and sent on the doorstep.
Delhi has provided a model of governance that has a different definition, he said, adding that he expects it to be implemented throughout the country.
“No one thinks governance can be transformed in this way.
We have started with the transportation department, immediately all departments will function like this.
You don’t need to come to the office at all,” the Ministerial Minister said.
In 2018, very “large-scale” reforms were implemented in Delhi in the form of shipping shipping government service, Kejriwal said.
“Just like how you order pizza, you must just call 1076 and a representative will come to you to take all your documents, fill out your form and pay your fees.
Representatives will complete all formalities, get licenses, and send them to you,” he said .
At present, more than 150 services can be used through the door delivery essays from various departments, Kejriwal said, filling it as a “revolutionary” step in the field of government.
