New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President of Anil Chaudhary released the “water truth report” on Saturday, allapsing that people in the national capital did not get clean water.
Congress leader, in a statement, said drinking water has become a “rare commodity” in the city.
“The water crisis has become so acute in the capital that most people have been damaged by the Pandemic Covid-19, forced to spend money to buy bottled water for their daily consumption,” Chaudhary said.
He added that compared to the time the Government of Congress, complaints about “dirty water, water scarcity and ditch blockages have risen 209 percent”.
“Such complaints in 2013-14 were 55,455, but in 2020-21, they had risen to 1.71 lakh.
