NEW DELHI: A on-duty sub inspector supposedly shot himself dead with his service pistol in a police station on Friday, officials explained.
The dead person, Rahul Singh, belonged to Agra district Uttar Pradesh and dwelt with his loved ones, he said.
The 31-year-old went into the deck of Pandav Nagar police station, at which he had been published, and killed himself,” stated Priyanka Kashyap, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East).
No suicide note has been recovered from the place, authorities said.
