New Delhi: Delhi recorded 17 deaths again due to Covid-19 and 19,166 infections in a day because the level of participation rose to 25 percent, the highest since May 4 last year, according to the city health department data on Monday.
The city has reported the same number of Covid deaths on Sundays too.
In just 10 days, Delhi has recorded 70 Covid deaths.
22,752 new cases reported on Sunday were the highest since May 1 last year when the city saw 25,219 infections with a 31.61 percent participant level.
Delhi saw fewer cases on Monday with the number of tests carried out the previous day lower than the previous day.
A total of 1,912 covid patients were in the hospital.
From them, 65 in ventilator support, government data shows.
The city currently has 65,803 active cases 44,028 is in house isolation.
