New Delhi: If you have cut trees about two decades ago and do not ship good items or carry out plantation compensation for the same thing, you can receive notifications that ask you to pay a penalty.
The Forest Department and Wildlife have initiated a boost to collect arrears from 2002 and so on with notifications so far issued for violations that occur in the South Division from 2002 to 2010.
These include non-payment amounts for tree logging, non-payment amount for planting pillow compensation or not carry out mandatory plantations.
Officials said fines could range from Rs 34,500 to several lakh.
A senior forest official in the South Division said the encouragement began to restore fees that stretched for several years, with inspections must be carried out at the location after seven years giving permission to carry out logging.

Guaranteed money is collected, followed by the actual amount to fall trees.

A forest official in the South Division said more notice was issued for violations that occurred between 2011 and 2020.
A forest official in the North Division said they would also soon launch the same drive.
“Notifications have been issued before this too, but in most cases, applicants do not reply or submit the necessary information.
After some deviations, the fine can be worn on them,” the official said.
Forest officials say hundreds of violators have been identified so far and lakh rupees are expected to be recovered from the drive.
