Delhi: Debt, Driving Medicines Many Crime Stagrels

New Delhi: In the past recently, some people with stable jobs have been arrested for various crimes, mostly small and white collars.
According to the police, before most people were caught because street crimes came from disadvantaged or criminal backgrounds.
But in many cases recently, the defendant took a crime after causing debts in gambling or consuming upscale drugs, police said.
A senior officer said some people from a stable family and with a decent work had been taken to various crimes in recent months.
In some cases they have changed criminals after they fell prey to the action.
In Southern Delhi, a 47-year-old man from Nepal who worked as a peon in the office for the past 26 years finally stole his cash and employer jewelry worth Rs 40 Lakh for a comfortable life with his family.
The police said he was the first criminal.
Likewise, outside Delhi, a cheated Bhojpuri singer through social media with the pretext of a film placed by a senior citizen in April in the same way when he felt it was a quick way to make money.
Jitender Kumar Mishra (36) moved back to his village after the factory was closed.
After working as a customer service agent with several companies, he joined acting courses and uploaded resumes on Facebook.
He was then cheated by several people in Mumbai while looking for a role.
He watched the interest of senior citizens in getting a role in the television series and calming him, the officer said.
In other cases in Dwarka, the son of a government official was arrested for robbery.
“His wife has a stable job, but the man enters a bad company,” the officer said.
