New Delhi: A junior resident doctor at the Rao Ram Memorial Hospital in southwest Jaffarpur was shot on the face when two men tried to rob his car in Gunpoint near the local police station.
On Monday night, the 26-year-old doctor was in tea shop at the time, after parking his car nearby.
One of the two men entered the car even when Dr.
Hemant Mudgal pushed him towards the hospital’s emergency wing.
Seeing the doctor refused, the defendant first hit the mudgal with the gun and then shot him before running away.
The car was later found left 2 km from the hospital.
According to the police, the incident was reported at around 8:30 a.m.
on Monday.
Mudgal, who was shifting at night, parked the Verna car which had just been bought at a tea vendor stall opposite the hospital.
He bought cigarettes and tea.
Then, when he approached his car, two men tried to force themselves into the vehicle.
Mudgal, showed the presence of the mind, turned the car which caused one of the men to fall and then drove quickly to the hospital.
However, the second man managed to hold on and when the mudgal stopped the car outside the emergency ward, he managed it with a butt gun and fired two rounds.
One shot hit the doctor in his chin while the others destroyed the rearview mirror.
A bloody mudgal threw himself out of the car, while intruders jumped to the front seat and held the steering wheel.
The Ambulance Driver Mahesh Kumar, who witnessed the incident, remembered, “the man turned the car, went up to the trail and then drove to the second gate, which he said was closed.
So he drove again towards the main gate, tried by security guards.
However, The man broke through the gate and drove at high speed to Kalan Jaffarpur Village.
“Shankar Chaudhary, DCP (Dwarka), said,” Police personnel at the hospital swung actions and told others.

Investigators working on this case and they hope to be accused.
“the seller of tea Satya Prakash stated that a hospital doctor regularly came to his stall to rest.
“Dr.
Hemant Mudgal came and smoked cigarettes and drank a cup of tea.
When I heard gunshots, I rushed out of the shop to see what happened,” Prakash said.
“A doctor who stood outside the store and was on his way home beaten when the defendant escaped in the car.” The hospital medical supervisor stated that Mudgal was on the duties of the night at the victim and had just arrived to work.
“He was injured and he told the doctor on the night assignment that treats him about criminals who shot him and went with his car,” said hospital officials to the media.
“The defendant destroyed the hospital gate while running away.
The security guards said the defendant was riding at least 150 kmps and crashing into the gate.” The doctor has recovered in Medanta.
