New Delhi: The Delhi government plan to beautify the capital’s entry point to make them aesthetic fun will eventually take off from the border of Tikri Kalan.
The government has announced at the beginning of 2019 projects for beauty all entry points of the city.
However, the proposal for the project prepared by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) did not get a nod at that time from Delhi Urban Art Commission (BOTC), who wanted several modifications.
“Twoac has now provided a green signal for the Tikri border entry project Kalan Delhi-Haryana on the NH-9,” said Delhi government officials.
The source said that the DTTDC must make a modification in its proposal several times to finally accept a nod from two, which is reported to not want permanent construction at the entry point.
The border of Delhi-Haryana in Tikri Kalan is located in the National Highway-9.

“After the Tikri Kalan border, Delhi tourism plans to take the gate beauty project in the border Apsara and the next capashera border, after approval.” According to the source, this project will not only see a gate entry that is pleasant aesthetically to welcome those who visit the capital but also the beauty of the 200 meter stretch with statues and other installations.
“Large LCD screens will display Delhi’s audio-visual encapsulation and Delhi culture, regardless of the level of pollution, temperature, etc.,” they said.
In the annual annual announcement of the 2019-20, Deputy Minister of Manish Sisodia had allocated Rs 25 Crore for the drivers of beauty and the creation of the entrance gate.
The source said Rs 11 Crore will be spent on the beauty of the entry point on the border of Tikri Kalan.
