New Delhi: Sharp Shower on Saturday night took Delhi’s calculation in the month past 80mm, making it in January in the capital in the record back to 1950.

According to IMD, Sundays can see the maximum and minimum temperature of 16 and 10 degrees Celsius.
“There is a little chances of cold days on Sundays, with a minimum temperature likely to drop below 10 degrees.
But if it happens, only for one day, because the maximum temperature will rise slightly from January 24 and so on after raining the activity subsides.
However, from Monday, the minimum temperature will drop 3 to 4 degrees for the next three to four days, “said Mahesh Palawat, Vice President, Skymet.
He added that Western interference actively caused rain in the capital.
Delhi recorded 4.9 mm rainfall in Safdarjung, the City Basana Weather station, until Saturday night.
It takes the total January rainfall of up to 68.5 mm this year, which is the highest in the month since 1995.
“The weather can clear up on Monday,” Palawat added.
Meanwhile, air quality in the city improved in the ‘very poor’ category due to light rain.
The air quality index on Saturday, on a scale of 0 to 500, is 316 of 365 the day before.
