New Delhi: Indigo flight landed in Guwahati on Monday safely, even though it was beaten by a bird while taking off for Delhi.
However, the fan blade of the Airbus A320 Neo (VT-ICF) was damaged.
The plane is now based on Guwahati for the replacement of the fan bar.
“The plane operates as a 6E-2329 Guwahati-Delhi has a bird attack on the number 2 engine and the pilot back safely to origin.
On the examination, the A320 is based.
Indigo sent men and material to replace two damaged fan blades,” someone said in knowledge.
However, Indigo has not made an official comment.
