Gurgaon: Stage-4 cancer patients allegedly deceived by Rs 76,000 by fraudsters who have promised medical saved.
The suspect stopped responding to calls and his message after receiving a face for medicine His son, Vikram Saxena, struggled to find a medicine in Gurgaon and therefore contacted a friend, Aditya Sharma, who told him to connect with KS Adhikari, a cancer patient in Dwarka.
“He suggested a source of drugs from Delhi because the procurement of Chandigarh was not feasible.
Medications need to be stored in 2-8 degreescelcius,” said Saxena.
Adhikari further took him to Jasbeer Singh, who worked with a chemist in the area of Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in New Delhi.
Saxena contacted Singh on September 21 and shared recipes and patient details.
“Jasbeer distributed bank details and asked him to deposit Rs 76,000 in advance for two bottles of ujvira injection each of which was 160mg.
The money was transferred in two installments on 23 & 24 September,” Saxena said.
After receiving payment, Singh allegedly stopped answering calls and messages from Saxena, who finally approached the Gurgaon police and filed a complaint.
