New Delhi: With three men’s arrest, a group of thieves used to target ATMs and escape with stolen money has been damaged.
The trio was arrested after a fire exchange, said the senior police officer.
The man who was arrested has been identified as a Sahib (22), Abid (20) and Shakil (20) – all residents of Melat in Haryana.
According to the police, on Friday, the Badli Samaypur police station received information that the alleged Geng Robber of ATMs from Melat will visit the Badli industrial area.
“Based on Tip-Off, our team put a trap near the canal road that flows from the Badli industrial area to Khera Kalan.
The suspects were intercepted as soon as they were seen from the industrial area.
When they saw the police team, one of the accused of Sahib, said that the shot was shot on Police personnel.
He released one round of his gun and they all tried to escape.
