He appealed to traders not to keep crackers this year.
Kejriwal tweeted, “Given the dangerous condition of pollution in Delhi during the diving period for the past three years, such as last year, a complete ban will be charged on storage, sales, and use of all types of firecrackers, so that people live can be saved.” पिछले 3 साल से दीवाली के समय दिल्ली के प्रदूषण की खतरनाकस सदेखतेिथिछले ोाल की तरह इस ीार भी हर प्रकार …

However, the Delhi government must continue its efforts to ensure that the city does not choke again by poisonous air caused by a much larger culprit, stump burning.
In other tweets, CM said the ban was enforced earlier this year to avoid losses for traders.
“Last year, the complete ban on firecrackers was forced late after assessing the seriousness of the situation.
This caused a loss to traders.
This is an attraction for all traders who are currently given a complete ban, please do not do a type of Stoke,” Tweeted Kejriwal.

Data “The Central Pollution Control Agency (CPCB) over the past three years shows Delhi in almost the poor pollution index.
Rajasthan, Odisha, Sikkim, West Bengal, Chandigarh and 13 District District Pradesh have imposed a complete ban on last year’s firecracker,” he added.
Last year, the Delhi government decided to support a complete ban on November 6, which had just been before Diwali, but at that time Delhi police have issued a temporary license for sale to traders.
“Because of this, traders and dealers suffer losses.
There are also incidents of firecrackers by residents because of easy availability.
To avoid such situations, we decide that the Delhi pollution control committee, like last year, will issue instructions for a complete ban on sales, use, and Storage of all types of firecrackers with direct effects, “Rai said.
A government official said the ban on firecrackers was for the whole season.
In November last year, NGT also imposed sales prohibitions and the use of firecrackers in NCR.
However, lightning traders have expressed unhappiness of the Delhi government’s decision, which includes a ban on green crackers.
Narendra Gupta, President, Fireworks Association, said, “Almost all companies produce green crackers, so why does the government forbade it? People buy crackers from NCR and explode in Delhi.” A CPCB report about “the quality of the air around during the Deepawali 2020” states that Delhi saw the highest PM2.5 surge (82.9%) in the country on Diwali’s day compared to the previous day.
