New Delhi: Delhi Cabinet on Saturday gave it ahead to update the government’s aap door service scheme for another time.
Accessing public services at home will be easier because the 1076 Helpline will be toll free.
Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said Doorstep shipping public services had received massive support from Delhi and cabinet to update it with enhanced features and new vendors.
“This is an important step of the Delhi government that provides Delhi society facilities to utilize 150 services from their homes.
All they have to do is call 1076 and then an officer comes to their home and finishes work.
This is the only service that is not only on India, but also the whole world, “Kejriwal said.
“Many improvements will be implemented in the next phase of service.
This includes making 1076 toll-free numbers and dividing work between two vendors.
This will bring a sense of positive competition that is more beneficial for residents.
We will immediately float tenders for the next phase of the project,” CM added.
Under the new door delivery regime, cellular sahayak who will be responsible for providing last-mile facilities will be assisted with modern technology and applications consisting of perfected bouquets, which will help them facilitate services to citizens.
Mobile Sa’ayak will take the nominal fee of Rs 50.
