New Delhi: The Delhi government has decided to issue a notification of performances to the apeejay school, Sheikh Sarai, because he took over his management.
The Proposal of the Directorate of Education (DOE) was approved by the Chairman of the Minister of Arvind KeRriwal and has now been sent to Lieutenant Governor of Baijal for his nod.
DOE claims that schools have repeatedly failed to comply with various government orders about returning the cost of increases.
However, the school said the cost was charged based on the Delhi High Court order.
On May 4, 2020, DOE had sealed a school place for violating their order on a cost increase.
The school then moved the High Court, which was directed at sealing a place and gave it a chance to be heard.
Statement issued by the Government said, “Doe has examined school financial statements for the 2012-2013 fiscal year until 2018-2019.
The department found that the total funds for 2018-2019 were Rs 49,72,45,586 including expenditure estimated to RS 18.87.02.422.
This implies That there was a net surplus of Rs 30.85.43.164.
The department concluded that the school did not have the actual need to increase costs.
“This is the reason Delhi’s government does not accept proposals for increasing costs for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic sessions.
“The Directorate then issued a notification to the school, asking why his confession should not be canceled or why the government should not take over management.
Some notifications were issued because they did not charge increased costs, but the school did not submit a reply.
The school approached the High Court, but the judge ratified the DOE command And ask for returns from the increase in costs, “the government said.
APEJAY school, in a statement, said, “We were surprised by the prejudice and wrong statements made by the Delhi government while the problem was subjudice, and especially during Covid-19.
Our parents and students will still be unaffected and we will continue our virtual education Which is very good in partnership with them.
“Deputy CM and Minister of Education Manish Sisodia said,” The government of the Kejriawal will not let the injustice win.
Parents must be sure that we will stand with them and do not let them face difficulties.
“This is the second takeover announced by the Delhi government this year.
On June 26, the takeover of Swami Sivan and the government assisted Memorial School, Punjabi Bagh had been announced.
On July 16, the government had ordered the closure of elementary school public schools, Kirti Nagar.
In 2016, the government had ordered the takeover of two Maxfort School branches.
However, school moved fields and given assistance.
