Delhi Govt Changes Muharram Holidays until August 20

New Delhi: The Delhi government on Wednesday stated August 20 public holidays because of ‘Muharram’.
The General Administration Department of the City Government (GAD) has previously declared a Muharram vacation on August 19 (Thursday), but turned it to Friday after the Government’s Government’s decision in this relationship.
“The Indian government, the Ministry of Personnel, public complaints and retirement, has revised the vacation because of Muharram since Thursday to Friday.” Thus, holidays because Muharram was stated on Friday (August 20, 2021) for all government offices under the Government of the Capital City Delhi, “orders issued by the city government.
