Delhi Govt launched the ‘Business Blasts’ program in all schools to encourage entrepreneurship

New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday launched the Delhi government’s “Business Blasts” program at the Thyagraj Stadium here.
The program to be implemented in all Delhi government schools under the “Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum”, are intended to develop young entrepreneurs at the school level.

This will be a foundation stone in the development of the country,” said Sisodia.
As part of a program that “succeeded as a pilot project”, grade 11 and 12 students will be given seed money of 2,000 to start a business, he said.
“This program, for grade 11-12 students, will be the basis of the progress of the country.
Through this, children will not work after work, but the work will come after these children,” said Minister of Education.
The minister added that this program is an initiative, if implemented properly, can take India from developing countries to developed.
“When I was in school, we used to read that India was a developing country.
Today, our children are reading that India is still a developing country, but if we do not apply this program correctly, children of our children too Will read that India is still a developing country, “he said.
“But, if it is properly implemented, we will be able to change this history in our textbook, and say that India is not a developing country, but developed countries,” added Sisodia.
This program starts at the School of Excellence Khichipur under the pilot project.
The aim is to instill confidence in children that whatever work they do, they have to do it with an entrepreneurial mindset, said Sisodia.
In this project, nine groups consisting of 41 children were formed and every child was given the seeds of RS 1,000 seeds and these children resulted in a big profit, he said.
