New Delhi: The Delhi Government has provided administrative approval and estimates sanctions for streetscaping a 900-meter sample near Mukund Pur Chowk in North Delhi, according to Round.
Stretching near Mukund Pur is one of nine stretch samples to be rebuilt and beautified throughout the city as part of the Delhi Government Streetscaping project which aims to reduce, redesign and beautify 540 km in Delhi.
Officials said on Saturday that due to the approval had been given by the government, Streetscaping and Beauty jobs from the sample stretch, measuring 900 meters, Jalan No.
51 of McD Colony to Mukund Pur Chowk will likely be started soon.
Officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) said the government had approved the Estimated RS 19.52 Crore for rebuilding the sample stretch.
The stretch of the sample is part of the Chairman of the Arvind Minister of ARVIND “redesigning and the beauty of the road on the European standard project”.

In the pursuit of an engineer-in-chief proposal, PWD titled ‘Streetscaping of Road 51 McD Colony to Mukund Pur Chowk to make it a modelchaping project’ model with an estimated cost of Rs 19.52 Crore.

Last week the government had also provided an estimate of administrative sanctions and agreements to stretch the sample of 675 meters in Rohtak Road (NH-10) near the border of Tikri in West Delhi and 550 meters from Wazirabad Road in Northeast Delhi.
PWD officials said that redesigning the road would eliminate congestion and increase the aesthetic stretch of road.
The official said that the project requires road strengthening, increases aesthetics and introduces user facilities such as kiosks, benches, decorative lights and water atmosphere on the side of the road.
PWD officials say that stretches will be made by pedestrians and are friendly with the help of special cycle tracks and wide paths.
