New Delhi: In the significant movement of the Delhi Cabinet has decided to implement a Scheme of One State One Ration (Onorc) scheme which will enable a large number of poor people to migrate from their original places to Delhi to find rations using ration cards issued for them in the country their original part.
The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent locking has destroyed the poor, especially migrant workers who lost a choice of livelihoods and in trouble.
Onorc will help them put out the crisis because they will get free rations under NFSA, 2013 and under the PMGKAY scheme from Tuesday and so on.
“All beneficiaries will get a free cost of the cost gradually through e-posts (electronic sales points) on biometric authentication in all stores of fair prices.
Migrant recipients under national portability have the right and identified ration cards under NFSA in the country Their parents will also get a free ration in this plan, “said the Delhi government in a statement.
The free ration will be distributed to around 72 Lakh beneficiaries attached to around 17 lakh households.
Saurabh Gupta and Shailendra Kumar, who represent trade unions at reasonable prices, said the ration under the onorpor scheme will be distributed from Tuesday according to the Food Department command.
The Ministry of Food issued orders on Monday night request a fair price store to ensure free distribution of interference.

In Delhi, under NFS beneficiaries are provided with 5 kg of food grains every month under regular rights, including 4 kg of wheat and 1 kg of rice.
Regular ownership under the ‘Aay’ category is 25 kg wheat per household, 10 kg of rice per household and 1 kg of sugar per household.
The fixed cost for rights is Rs 2 per kg for wheat, Rs 3 per kg for rice and RS 13.5 per kg for sugar, which is currently not charged from the beneficiary NFS (including Aay beneficiaries).
Minister of Food and Supply Imran Hussain said during locking, the Ministry of Food has succeeded in making all-out efforts to meet the food requirements of the poor and vulnerable parts of the city including beneficiaries of NFS.
“Now we have implemented the ‘One Nation One Card Policy’ which will benefit migrants who live in Delhi to get free rations,” Hussain said.
In the order of the Department of Food asking all the fair price store licenses have also been ordered to observe the necessary prevention measures.
