New Delhi: The Delhi Government has postponed the game in the life of Babasaheb Ambedkar which will be performed from January 5 given the increasing Covid-19 cases in the national capital, Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday.
The government does not announce a new date.
“Delhi Govt has planned a big show in the life of Babasaheb Ambedkar from the January 5 stadium, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
However, this show was postponed in connection with Covid cases which increased.
We will announce the new date, as soon as the situation increases,” said Kejriwal in a tweet.
Delhi on Saturday recorded 249 fresh Covid-19 cases, the highest single-day hike since June 13, and one death, while the level of progress increased to 0.43 percent, according to data distributed by the City Health Department.
The city has recorded 255 cases on June 13.
On Friday, Delhi recorded 180 Covid-19 cases with a level of 8.29 percent in accordance with official data.
The city witnessed the uptick in the case of everyday in the middle of the leap in the case of the omicron covid variant.
