New Delhi: The day after one of the group teacher groups working at the Delhi government school held a press conference highlighting how they were happy to be part of the education system, the Delhi government on Thursday said they would increase their salary as “tokens thank you”.
“I am pleased to announce that the government has begun the process of increasing the salaries of the guest teacher,” said Minister of ARVIND KeRriwal.

About 22,000 guest teachers worked in more than 1,000 Delhi government schools.
Sisodia said, “I thank them for their contribution and an important role in supporting student education with regular teachers.”
“Maintaining inflation, increasing the cost of living, and family difficulties because in mind, the Delhi government has directed the Ministry of Education to improve the remuneration of guest teachers and contracts,” said a statement issued by the government.
Highlighting how the guest teacher’s condition has improved because the government of the Kejriawal is in power, Sisodia states, “This department works on the same details and will immediately submit proposals to us.
This will allow them to live their lives with dignity and continue to make their services wholeheartedly at school -Sek School Delhi.
The Delhi government is the only government, which spends 25% of the annual budget for education.
This includes the welfare of all dedicated teachers working on the development of a continuous education model in this country.

Meanwhile, a group of other guest teachers, all Indian guest teacher associations, issued a statement and said, “We asked for a policy on the regularization of guest teachers who worked in Delhi government schools.
Salary never requested us.”
