New Delhi: The Delhi Government will recommend the names of doctors and health workers, who fought against Covid Pandemics, to the Padma Award Center this year, said Minister of Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday.
The minister’s chairman also asked Delhies to recommend the names of doctors and health workers whose work was worth recognizing.

Kejriwal said the search and screening committee led by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will take the last call about this recommendation.
“We want doctors and health workers to be ordered with the Padma Awards this year in recognition of their work and as a signal of thanks to them,” said the ministerial head.
Many doctors and health workers signed Covid-19 and lost their lives while saving people from the virus.
All countries and humanity are indebted to them, he said.
“I know many doctors and health workers who don’t go home for days and work day and night to save our lives.
It’s time to respect them and show our gratitude to them,” Kejriwal said.
“The last date to send recommendations to the central government is September 15.
People need to send their recommendations to us on August 15, so that the name played can be sent on time to the center,” he added.
Padma award is given for leading and extraordinary services or services in all fields or disciplines, such as art, literature and education, sports, medicines, social work, social science, public affairs, civil service, trade and industry, etc.
Everyone without racial differences, work, position or sexual eligible for this award.
