New Delhi: This Friday will see the opening of two important stretches from Metro Delhi – Extension of Gray Lines (Dwarka-Najafgarh) to Dhansa Bus and open the ‘Links’ Links’ between Trilokpuri and Vihar Maju 1 Pink Station Pink Station (Taman Shiv Vihar -MAJLIS).
The parts will be inaugurated by Housing Union Minister and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and Chairman of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal in August, 6 through video conferencing, said Anuj Dayal, Executive Director (Corporate Communications), Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

Both parts recently received mandatory approval from the Safety Commissioner of Metro Rail (CMR).
Dayal said that with the opening of this extension, the Delhi Metro network will be 390 kilometers with 286 metro stations.
Dhansa Bus Stand Metro StationThe about one kilometer (891 meters) Long Najafgarh – Dhansa Bus Stand will take the metro further into the Najafgarh interior area, he said.
The Dwarka-Najafgarh section of the 54km long gray line opened in 2019 with three stations – Dwarka, Nangli and Najafgarh.
The ‘missing link’ from the pink line of the Delhi Metro Metro corridor in Trilokpuri, led to a line that functions as two separate corridors for two and a half years after the first line opened.
DMRC finally managed to bridge the gap between the Trilokpuri Metro Station and Vihar Pocket-1 Mayur in June.
58.6-km long pink line is one of the most ambitious corridors built by DMRC and also known as ‘corridor ring’ because it functions as a bow, connecting all existing Metro corridors.
However, the problem of unavailability of land in trilokpuri means that the DMRC cannot build important stretches.
As a result, while one part of the corridor operates from Majlis Park to Mayur Vihar Pocket 1, by train back from Mayor Vihar Pocket 1, the train coming from the Trilokpuri station.
On Friday, this section will connect two ends of the pink line and will provide unlimited connectivity to various regions and connect important transportation hubs such as Nizamuddin Train Station, Sarai Kale Khan Istbt, Anand Vihar Isbt and Railway Station, Delhi Cantt, Station Railways and markets that stand out like Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and Ina.
