NEW DELHI: Even a 22-year-old guy was detained from Delhi’s Khajuri Khas region after he phoned the Police Control Room (PCR) and supposedly threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officials said on Friday.
The accused, that has been recognized as Salman alias Arman, told authorities he made the telephone since he”wanted” to go to prison.
He’s hooked on drugs and has been delivered to a juvenile correction dwelling in 2018 at a murder case, ” he stated.
The accused known as the PCR on 112 about Thursday midnight and also threatened to kill PM Modi, the authorities said.
The number where the call was obtained was instantly followed and shared with all the district authorities unit, which afterward found him into Khajuri Khas, ” a senior police officer stated.
Based on preliminary analysis, Salman had been under the influence of drugs at the time of creating the call.
He had been scolded by his dad around 10pm.
During interrogation, the officer explained, the guy told authorities he made the telephone since he”needed” to go to prison.
If asked why he wished to go to jail,” he stated,”Wahin mann lagta hai mera (I enjoy being there).” Salman also told authorities he is hooked on drugs which he required some slap about seven pm Thursday, he explained.
Senior officers of the Delhi Police will interrogate him Intelligence Bureau officials in compliance with the protocol prior to taking any legal actions, the authorities said.
