New Delhi: The North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) opened his first pet dog park at Old Rajinder Nagar in the Karol Bagh Zone on Saturday.
It was inaugurated by the Mayor of King Iqbal Singh.
“The dog park is unique in many ways and consists of swings, green spots to fangs and their pet parents so they can enjoy good walks and some good trips together.
With the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, the life of pet dogs and Pet parents are locked up indoors and in limited space, which makes many of them falling prey to lifestyle.
This facility will help pets stay fit and have recreation in a safe and open space like a garden, “said Mayor.
Assistant Deputy Commissioner North Corporate (Karol Bagh Zone), Vishakha Yadav, said that a smooth registration counter has been installed to ensure adequate safety measures for pets and pet parents.
“The caricature and dog painting described beautifully drawn across the park, provide a crowded atmosphere.
Various types of swings, including those made of waste, the shape of the highlight of the garden, which will attract pet and baby lovers,” he said.
“The park atmosphere was developed under Yogesh Saini guidance from Delhi Street Art and technical expertise provided by Dr Asta from the Department of Northern Corporate Medicine,” an official said.
On that occasion, the technical examination & free anti-rabies vaccination for pets is also organized.
