New Delhi: The Government of Covid-19 Delhi’s vaccine has expired, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday and urged the center to send more doses for city people as needed for inoculation exercises.
In a tweet, he stressed that in the past two weeks, vaccination was carried out in the national capital at the “record speed”.
According to vaccination bulletin issued on Tuesday, 80,841 doses were given on July 5, while 84,63,689 doses had been given in total from the beginning of inoculation training.
Bulletin also mentions that less than the day of the vaccine stock is left with the Delhi government, adding that data for July 6 has not been compiled.
Sisodia, in Tweet in Hindi on Tuesday night, said, “In the past two weeks, vaccination is carried out in the national capital at a record speed.
But, for now, the vaccine stock ends in Delhi and there is no inventory to come from the central government to Now.
Is my request to the central government to send a vaccine to Delhi people as soon as possible, as needed “.
19.39,807 people have been fully vaccinated while 65.23,882 have received the first dose of vaccines, the vaccination bulletin said.
51,728 people received the first dose and 29,113 got the second dose of vaccines on July 5, he said.
The Delhi government has started a vaccination program for the age group 45 and above from April 1, a month before they in groups 18-44 get a nod to receive a dose.
Vaccination exercises began in Delhi and throughout the country starting January 16.
