New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Monday asked Delhi Police to explain whether there was a ban on Indian citizens from housing participants in the congregation of the Jamaat Tabligh last year who entered the country on a valid visa when there were no restrictions related to Covid-19.
The court asked the police to submit Affidavit to answer the question if there was a ban on Indians from providing accommodation to foreigners when the lock was worn.
Justice Mukta Gupta, who heard a number of petitions to cancel the registered shot in the host, said he would give the appropriate order after the material was placed in front of the court.
While some requests for pine dismissal are by individuals who have provided protection to foreigners who have attended the event and cannot travel because of the next lock because of the outbreak of Covid-19, the other by people such as members of the Managing Committee or Caregiver from Different mosques, which have been accused of providing housing facilities to foreign nationals at the mosque under the jurisdiction of the Expensive Chandni Police Station.
“They are under a valid visa.
They live there then you cannot say that they violate these provisions,” Justice Gupta said.
The prosecutor believes that when the police went to the “place,” the locals did not inform about the date where the participants came to live in a place in question and which was why the exact date was uncertain.
“Then your officer does not deserve to be an iOS (investigator officer),” replied the court.
It stated that the police could examine the passport entry of foreign citizens and data recorded their calls to verify their location.
“Arrupting things half-burn will not succeed, you have to show that after locking, they (participants) move here and there,” the downstritched court after the applicant claimed that the investigation body had not yet determined the date of entry to the place in FIR or Chargesheet.
The lawyer subsequently told the court that the Branch of Police Crime Delhi has also registered firms against the organizer of the alleged violations of certain provisions of Indian Criminal Code, acts of epidemic disease, etc.
The court then directed the DCP in question the Affidavit file which revealed if there was a petition accused of the Crime branch branch.
In their requests, Feroz and Rizwan applicants, who have each provided accommodation to four women present, have argued that the shelter is given to them because they have no place to go during locking.
