Delhi HC to hear petitions submitted by union officers

Nagpur: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday has ordered that the selection of the Director of Managing (CMD) and Functional Director for the Seven Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUS), carved from the factory army (OFB), the subject will be the result of the Writ petition challenging the process.
The Association of Indian Emarade Factory Officers (IOFS) has submitted a petition in the Delhi High Court challenging the process of appointment of CMD and functional director.
They accused the use of unfair facilities and that the procedure set was not followed.
The problem arose before the court Wednesday.
The court ordered that the appointment would be subject to the results of the writing petition.
Next hearing on October 27.
Notifications have been presented to the respondents who include the Defense and Ministry of Defense Production Department.
All people who have been selected have also made respondents in this case.
IOFS adviser explains that this means even though this cannot be called fixed on the appointment it will be postponed until the court decides whether to recognize the case or not.
The previous weaponry factory was the government department regulated by the Armament Factory Agency (OFB), which was located in Kolkata.
After corporatization, seven new public sector businesses have been formed.
Each PSU consists of a group of factories involved in making product categories ranging from ammunition, weaponry, and heavy vehicles.
IOFS officers joined the weaponry factories through Indian Engineering Services (IES) or civil service exams.
They were trained at the National Academy of Defense Production located in Nagpur.
