New Delhi: The Delhi High Court will hear on Monday a request for seven doctors associations against Yoga Teacher Ramdev for allegedly distributing the wrong information on his statement against Allopathy in the middle of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
This problem will be heard by the C day justice Shankar which previously asked for advice to the association to record videos related to alleged incorrect information.
The association before the court was three associations of doctors from the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences in Rishikesh, Patna and Bhubaneshwar, Resident Doctor Association, Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, Doctor Association Live Punjab (URDP); Doctor Resident Association, Lajpat Rai Medical College, Meerut and Telangana Junior Doctors Association, Hyderabad.
They alleged that Ramdev was misleading and misinterpreted to the public in general that Allopathy was responsible for the death of several people infected by Covid-19, and insinuated that doctors allopathic caused the death of the patient.
In their request, the association has said that the teacher’s yoga sows doubts in the minds of the general public regarding the safety and efficacy not only allopathic care but also the Covid-19 vaccine.
Being a very influential person, was arrested that Ramdev’s statement could affect the lakh people and divert it from allopathic treatment which was prescribed as a standard form of care even by the government, the application.
The association accused the request that the wrong information campaign was only advertisements and marketing strategies for further sales of products sold by Ramdev, including Coronil which claimed to be an alternative treatment for Covid-19.
With the third wave Covid-19 it is likely to be set in August, it is very important that the continuous information campaign in Ramdev was stopped, the association was requested.
The court has on June 3 issued summons to Ramdev on the request by the Delhi Medical Association in connection with the alleged statement of allopathic drugs and claims regarding the Patanjali Koronil Kit.
The court refused to hold Ramdev at that stage to say the Allopathic profession was not so fragile.
However, that, orally asked Ramdev’s advice to tell him not to make a provocative statement.
