New Delhi: The young couple captured by the Dwarka District Cops for the terrible murder of a 72-year-old woman almost passed away.
After strangling the woman and hacked her body into three parts, the suspect, Tanu and Anil Arya, really cleaned the whole house several times to remove the signs of crime.
However, a few drops of blood the victim had splashed into the fridge, which failed to pay attention to the couple and finally led the police to them.
The investigation, which has been reported told on Wednesday, revealed that the old woman, Kavita, was killed on June 30 and the couple threw away the parts of the body on July 1 at Drain Najafgarh.
Believe that they did not leave the path, the couple lived in their home until July 3 to thwart their suspicion.
When Kavita’s son and son-in-law Kavita returned from their hometown, they filed a complaint that was lost because he did not find it at home.
This was when the Defendant’s couple went to their home town.
Initially, it was believed that Kavita might have gone somewhere, but after thoroughly checking the police house found blood drops in the fridge.
Even though they became suspicious of accidents, they could only submit kidnapping guardianship on July 6-7 in the absence of the body.
Immediately, the police found two instructions.
CCTV footage from the adjacent home shows the couple entering the house and comes out with a trolley bag.
When the police looked around for the couple, they found their house locked.
They then became the main suspect.
Technical supervision and questions ended in the couple who were arrested from their home city.
The police said they had restored body parts and suspected that the rest were scattered with the flow of water or may have been eaten by animals.
On Wednesday, Tanu blamed the event of the event manager for the crime and claimed to be innocent when talking to reporters.
“I haven’t killed anyone.
After killing Kavita, my husband tried to kill me and my daughter too.
He had attacked me several times.
I continued to fear my life and my daughter,” he said.
However, the police said they had a lot of evidence of his involvement in the murder.
The police said the couple owed Kavita Rs 1 Lakh and could not return it due to the financial crisis.
Therefore, they plan to kill him.
When his son and his wife left, they went to his house with the pretext of returning money and strangling him to death.
They then hacked the body into pieces, packed it in a bag and threw it in the Najafgarh channel.
