New Delhi: The Delhi government on Monday requested an urgent hearing before the Supreme Court at an insulting request against Haryana for not supplying the part of the water entitled to in accordance with the command of the Supreme Court, said there was a possibility of a severe water crisis in the national capital.
It was said that the supply of water to the presidential plantation, parliamentary houses and important buildings had been restricted.
The petition submitted by the Board of Jal Delhi, looking for a trial of disgusted against the Secretary of the Head of Haryana Viji Vardhan and other officials, accused the reservoir Wazirabad was only 31% full.
It was said according to the APEX court order, the surface of the water in the Wazirabad reservoir will remain full of capacity by Haryana to meet the needs of NCT drinking water from Delhi.
