New Delhi: The Delhi government on Monday requested an urgent hearing before the Supreme Court at an insulting request against Haryana for not supplying the part of the water entitled to in accordance with the command of the Supreme Court, said there was a possibility of a severe water crisis in the national capital.
It was said that the supply of water to the presidential plantation, parliamentary houses and important buildings had been restricted.
The petition submitted by the Board of Jal Delhi, looking for a trial of disgusted against the Secretary of the Head of Haryana Viji Vardhan and other officials, accused the reservoir Wazirabad was only 31% full.
It was said according to the APEX court order, the surface of the water in the Wazirabad reservoir will remain full of capacity by Haryana to meet the needs of NCT drinking water from Delhi.
Delhi’s government allegations, the Government Haryana said that he had fulfilled his commitment even when the lack of rainfall had reduced the flow in Yamuna.
It said the data at Munak Water Works would show that Haryana did not reduce water supply.
“Because non-supply of adequate water by Haryana state, the water level in the Wazirabad reservoir stands only 667.60 feet by opposing the level of mandated 674.50 feet, as on July 10 means that the reservoir Wazirabad is only 31% full,” said advice The Delhi Shadadan Farasat government in his letter to the Supreme Court who was looking for an urgent hearing.
“Thus, the intervention urged a respectable court needed because the Delhi National Capital Region stared at the water crisis that was very large and endap.
Therefore praying for the problem to be processed to urge through VC before the Main Justice Court of India,” he said.
“The title petition was submitted by me by looking for initiation of the insulting process against Viji Vardhan and Devender Singh, the Department of Principal of Additional Schools, Irrigation and Water Resources, Haryana for intentional disobedience on February 29, 1996 from this court ….
