Delhi LG holds a Covid meeting, CM Tweets objections

New Delhi: Lieutenant Governor of Anil Baijal held a meeting on Wednesday to review the Covid-19 situation in Delhi and the city’s readiness to deal with it.
The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary of the Chief, the Secretary of the Additional Chief (Home and Health), Commissioner of Division, Secretary (Health), DMRC MD and other officials, has become another flame point in the relationship between the LG and Delhi government.
Within a few hours, the Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal sent a tweet of objections to LG who held a meeting with important subjects without involving the elected government.
In his tweet, Kejriwal said: “It was against the constitution and assessment of the Supreme Court Constitutional bench to hold a parallel meeting as it was behind the selected government.
We are democracy.
People have chosen the minister’s board.
If you have questions, please ask the people Our minister.
Avoid holding direct meetings with officers.
Let’s respect democracy, sir “.
He quotes tweets from LG where LG has shared the results of the meeting.
At the LG meeting, the Ministry of Health is advised to ensure that all PSA oxygen plants, liquid medical oxygen storage tanks and the latest Cryogenic bottling plant are assigned on August 31 and the provisions for adequate drug stocks related to Covid-19 and black fungi are made so every The surge in Covid-19 cases can be grouped effectively and managed.
