Delhi: Mall, Pub, Restaurant stares great losses

New Delhi: A mall in Saket has planned the Alfresco market for the weekend.
It is to celebrate Christmas in the open, while food stalls must be installed by leading restaurants, artisanal products must be displayed and visitors can reflect wine and beer in the sun.
Until Wednesday afternoon, efforts were in full swing to get all permissions and licenses in place and plan the best way to manage high selection expected over the weekend.
But on Thursday, letters were sent to all vendors, outlets, artists, and participants who informed them about the cancellation of the event because of the DDMA command which prohibited the celebration in public.
From hoping for weeks sold out, bars, clubs, malls, and markets now staring delicious.
Most of the live music shows planned at the club have been canceled, the artiste shows down, performances at a banquet from the list and lunch turned into a matter of sitting without music or celebrations.
The restaurant industry that expects one of the two biggest weeks in front is now busy calculating its losses.
Priyank Sukhija from the first violin restaurant, who is also the Head of Chapter Delhi from the Indian National Restaurant Association, said the combined loss will reach hundreds of crores.
Every place has registered Artistes for special nights, planning various themed events and investing in promotions.
All of this has turned on because of the ban on the celebration.
Busy by opening two new outlets in Mehrauli, Sukhija Ruped that the restaurant industry was being selected, while there were no such limits in the local market or election demonstration.
Rahul Singh from Beer Cafe said the cancellation of events was a big blow to the industry.
Instead of a festive week, there will be no sleep for most entrepreneurs.
It’s also the time when thousands of temporary work is produced because of hundreds of events, but everything has been canceled.
Ashish Begwani from the toy room and Ophelia said from thinking about getting the best artists to appear until last week, the owner’s mind now canceled the event.
He added that efforts should have a better implementation of protocols, rather than canceling events that have produced a big loss for them.
“Every place employs at least 50 people, but now they all wrestle with uncertainty again,” he said.
Most five star hotels are now promoting their food choices for their banquet events when Christmas Eve and the new year standing canceled.
The Christmas Fable brunch is not expected to have direct songs and will have pre-recorded table and music services.
Luxury food in Megu, Le Cirque at the Leela Palace for lunch in Bukhara, Dum Pukht and Ottimo at Itc Maurya again in focus on music performances.
Most hotels say where food they have not seen too much cancellation.
Ajit Shah, Partner, White Panda Hospitality, said new restrictions only mean lack of income for the F & B industry.
While his team stepped in careful and following all Covid protocols, orders for Christmas and New Year did not promise because they appeared in early December.
He is optimistic about good sales when the regular customers have not canceled their bookings.
Sukhija said Noida and Gurgaon did not have such a limitation.
He added that the industry should not be selected and the same rules apply to each sector.
