Delhi markets to keep opening beyond 8pm from Mon: Govt

New Delhi: The market in the national capital can remain open beyond 08:00 from August 23, with the Delhi government on Saturday announcing the revocation of restrictions in the view of the decline in Covid-19 cases in the city.
There was no death because Covid-19 was recorded in Delhi on Saturday, the second day in a row the number of deaths every day stood nil, while 19 fresh cases were reported, the lowest since April 15 last year, according to data together by the City Health Department.
“Given the Coronavirus situation, the market which is currently allowed to remain open until 8pm.
With a decrease in Covid-19 cases, this time limit is being carried away with Monday.
The market can remain open according to their normal time,” said Minister Arvind Kejriwal at A tweet in Hindi.
These are the twelve times since the beginning of the second wave of pandemic in the national capital of zero death has been logged in a day.
On July 18, July 24, July 29, August 2, August 4, August 8, August 11, August 12, August 13, August 13, August 16 and August 20 as well, there were no deaths from Covid-19 recorded, according to official data.
On March 2 this year, the city has reported zero deaths from viruses.
