New Delhi: The 32-year-old MBA holder has been arrested for deceiving women through the Matrimonial website, police said.
The defendant made his profile on the site and began targeting women working on false marriage promises.
The investigator claimed that during video calls, he took their nude photos and began to squeeze them to squeeze money.
In complaints, a 32-year-old woman told the police that she met someone named Sahil Sachdeva, a native of Uttar Pradesh, through the Matrimonial website (Betterhalf.com) in October last year.
“He made false promises to marry him.
In his guarantee, they began to build their relationship.
Sachdeva took his naked photo during video calls and began to extort him,” said a police officer.
Sachdeva threatens a complainant, says he will upload all photos on the social media platform if he doesn’t send him money.
In two months, he extorted RS two lakh from him.
During the probe, the police found that the defendant used to change his hiding place.
“Later, he was arrested from the area of Neb Sarai,” the officer said.
“We investigated whether three more women were squeezed by him,” the officer said.
Cellphones that have nude photos and videos of more than four girls have recovered from their ownership.
Sachdeva completed his initial education at school in Saharapur.

“After that, he completed the title B.Tech Saharanpur and the MBA title from a university in Jalandhar.
He was not married and unemployed,” the officer said.
