New Delhi: A 35-year-old man involving more than 100 cases of grabbing and robbery in the national capital, arrested from Jodhpur in Rajasthan, police said on Tuesday.
One Goldsmith, who was the recipient of the winner, was also arrested, they said.
The defendant has been identified as Arjun, a resident of Jhuggi Lal Bagh, and Verma Verma (22), a resident of Nand Nagari, police said.
Arjun was involved in more than 100 cases of seizing and robbery.
After being released on the guarantee in April this year, he still has 52 cases against him.
The police visited the places where the incident grabbed and collected CCTV recording data.
Then, it came to pay attention to that in most incidents, the snatcher was active during the morning or after 8pm to 10pm, said a senior police officer.
On September 14, information was accepted that Arjun would go to Gogamedhi Dham in Jodhpur to avoid his arrest, the officer said.

The search was conducted in a remote area of LUNUNI in Rajasthan and Arjun was arrested,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Santosh Kumar Meena.
During interrogation, he expressed his involvement in more than 50 cases mentioning and robbery of gold chains in Dwarka, West, Northwest, North and Rohini Regency, police said.
The gold chain also recovers from Vermican’s ownership, they said.
The defendant revealed that he had a robbery and robbery with his colleague Ashish, Ajay, Amrish and his brother Sonu.
They use motorbikes or scooters stolen high-performance, police said.
