New Delhi: The emergence of the rainy season above Delhi is likely to occur around July 10, according to the latest estimate by the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD).
If it arrived in the capital on July 10, it would be the most delayed monsoon in 18 years.
Rain activities will likely start in Delhi starting July 8.
The previous IMD estimated the monsun on June 15 but the progress of Monsoon slowed.
The monsoon was delayed because it crossed the date of normal arrival June 27.
Now it is expected that around July 10 and the capital can watch the most delayed monsoon since 2002.
Monsoon’s incorporation in the capital took place on July 19 in 192.
In 2006, the Monsun had arrived on July 9 in 1987, Delhi had witnessed the arrival of Monsoon on July 26, Delay of recording of all time.
Kuldeep Srivastava, Scientists at the IMD, said, “Monsun is likely to arrive around 10 July 10.
Rainfall activities are predicted to increase in the region.” “The moist east wind at the lower level of the Bay of Bengal tends to be gradually established in the parts of East India from July 8 and so on.
They tend to spread to northwestern India which includes Punjab and North Haryana at 10.

Forecast of the Meeting Department said there was a possibility of Thundery’s development on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Rain will also help to reduce mercury because the maximum temperature is estimated at 34 degrees Celsius on 11 July.
On Monday , the maximum temperature is recorded at 39.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal.
The minimum temperature is completed at 28 degrees Celsius.
The relative humidity of oscillating between 62% and 40%.
The overall air quality index in the city is 149, which is below the category Moderate.
“Dust (PM10) will be the main pollutant for the next three days.
