Delhi: One Roof Portal to Drive Electric Vehicle Travel

New Delhi: If you drive an electric vehicle (eV) and want to know about the charging point closer to your home or office or get to know the EV policy, the Delhi EV.delhi.gov.in government web portal is the right platform for you.
The new portal launched is a perfect one-roof knowledge hub that provides all relevant information, including available models, charging facilities and fuel cost savings and the maintenance of vis-a-vis cars that run on conventional fuel.
This portal is designed to function as a major source of information for buyers, manufacturers, academics, and EV fans.
The website was launched in virtual mode by Minister of Transport Kailash Gahlot.
Speaking on a digital event, Gahlot said the Delhi government, under the leadership of the chairman of the Minister of Arvind KeRriwal, wanted to provide a user, interactive, and many sense platforms for people.
“This website will provide all the information needed to potential EV consumers and remain up to date with sales and data on infrastructure charging daily growth too,” he added.
The Delhi government works hard against the promotion and adoption of electric vehicles.
On Wednesday, it signed two pacts with Convergence Energy Services Limited, a subsidiary of the state-owned energy efficiency service, opened the way for installation of charging stations and battery exchanges in the bus depot and provided subsidies to interest components for those who buy electricity.
rickshaw, autorickshaws and loan carts.
The portal not only provides data about location filling locations and charger specifications, but also continue to update in real-time.
Delhi currently has 377 charging points in 170 locations and the number develops.
One of the greatest concerns of EV fans is the price of the vehicle of his choice and the cost of running and maintenance compared to the gasoline variants, diesel and CNG.
The EV calculator provides an estimated fuel savings and allows consumers to make rational choices.
Complete information will also be given to the portal on all EV models registered in the capital along with prices, brands, and its reach in a power filler.
The EV dash provides updates about Delhi’s electric vehicle ecosystem, including sales and absorption in real-time.
In addition to these features, this website also has a feedback and complaint parts where stakeholders can provide their advice.
Gahlot suggested that the Department of Transportation began a special page for the EV community where people driving such vehicles could provide insight into others.
