Delhi Oppn Leader tried to set the agenda

New Delhi: In a letter to Delhi Assembly Speaker RAM Niwas Goel, opposition leader in the Ramvir Singh Bidhuri assembly on Wednesday urged him to hold a business advisory committee meeting on July 26 to set the Montshan Assembly agenda starting from July 29.
“It is very encouraging to know that the assembly session has been held after a long time, but the time given to members to ask questions or discussion topics during the proposed question hours is very low.
There is no agenda described by the government for the session held after the second wave Severe who hit the capital, “Bidhuri said in a statement.
Bidhuri stated that it had become a tradition since the beginning of the Delhi Assembly that the business advisory committee meeting was held before each session to decide on the session agenda or that day.
“It is very unfortunate that BAC meetings have never been held or opposition members or leaders have been consulted before the session,” Bidhuri said.
LOP also suggested that the duration of the assembly session must be increased at least three more days to enable members to improve important problems related to their constituencies.
The two-day session will start from July 29.
Opposition members plan to increase problems related to Covid-19 management, water crisis, water logging among other issues related to their assembly constituency.
