New Delhi: Police Commissioner Delhi SN Shrivastava is set to retire on Wednesday, according to official orders.
Orders have been issued with the approval of the Governor of Baijal.
“As a result, after reaching the age of Pensiua, Sachchida Nand Shrivastava, IPS (Agmut; 1985) is currently posted as a police commissioner, Delhi will stand retirement from government services with the effects of June 30,” said Order Deputy Secretary (House), Pawan Kumar.
Shrivastava holds the position of Police Commissioner Delhi as an additional cost.
However, he was appointed as Delhi police commissioner last month.
A command released last month by the Interior Ministry stated that the 1985 Batch IPS officer was cleaned for holding the position of Delhi Police Commissioner until further orders.
His name was cleaned by competent authority, the order said.
Shrivastava was given additional charges of the Delhi Police Commissioner in February last year.
Previously he was taken from CRPF and posted as a special commissioner (Law and order) of Delhi police.
