New Delhi: Delhi police have arrested 28 people, including 25 women, because they deceived people with the pretext of a fake loan scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana.
The arrest was made of Jahangirpuri Northwest Delhi on Tuesday.
Munni Devi was deadly to the police that he got a call from one satish who introduced himself as a bank employee who offered loans.
“He transferred Rs 21,500 to a bank account provided by him,” said DCP (Rohini) Pranav Tayal.
Satish then stopped calling him.
Registered cases and teams under Sho (Budh Vihar) Khemendra Pal Singh were formed for investigations.
Based on technical information, the police team attacked the call center and arrested the defendant.
