New Delhi: After finding that the police had easily escaped because of their mistakes only by warning or reproach, Delhi police have asked senior officers to examine the nature of punishment correctly.
It was observed that punishment was given to police officers for shortcomings in cases of investigating and non-performances in court in collateral issues were soft.
“All disciplined officers and appellate must ensure that disciplinary actions are commensurate with violations.
Non-appearance in court can have different results, such as the defendant released in a bail,” police said.
“Penalties must be commensions with negligence or errors in investigative and sho officers where poor weaknesses or investigations lead to the defendant’s release.
If a case fails as a result of the police spinning hostile, it must be mentioned in the notification of performances and appropriate actions for violations.
Conducting an investigation must maintain the limitations of the law in the finalization of this case, “police said.
It was also found that a police formed was transferred to another unit by the relevant disciplinary authority when there was a need to start the department’s actions.
“If there is a department process that occurs, the police must remain in the same district.
For transfers, proposals must be sent to the PHQ and the final decision taken by the Board of Statement,” Police said.
